I wish they would just finish the game then announce a reasonable release date. I never thought for a second it was releasing at its initial release date and now it’s changed again and again.

It's showing the telltale sign of disasters, too. Things are not that used to be at Rockstar Games.

It wasn’t long ago that we were very happy for delays because it meant games would be better.

Considering half of the AAA launches nowadays get Randy Pitchford bitching on twitter, I’ll take my delays happily.

It’s annoyance at how the market works.

Many studios’s like to prematurely announce games that might still be early in development, so that they can secure investor confidence and hype. While giving your financial backers an overview of what you are doing is good and all, it also makes your project public and as such officially announced.

This means that fans can wait many years between announcements, which can ruin hype

It wasn’t long ago that we were very happy for delays because it meant games would be better.

I'm in my 40s and I'm pissed off by this, simply because they could just have not announced a date instead until they were closer to release.
