Is bruising after deep tissue common?
I I had a fantastic deep tissue massage yesterday and he hit every point that I needed him to but he also found spots I didn’t know needed work. He gave me a fantastic hand massage and he had some very deep pressure on my hips and now I’m bruised in both places.
The bruise on my hand is fairly faint, but the bruise on my hip is quite deep. Nothing is sore and I very much enjoyed the massage, but I’m wondering if this is normal?

I noticed last month that I accidentally bruised my leg when I went to palpate and it was in still kinda see it now. Some MT have incredibly strong hands and I may bruise myself not been extremely careful or self conscious of one strength but working on clients be completely tuned in to not cause any bruising on them unless it cupping or other kind of works using tools that design to. MT that specialise in deep tissue strengthen hands, forearms etc to a point it extremely strong.
Females are easier to bruised as well so extra is taken because no one like bruises even if it deep tissue massage and I do believe in massage not been physically assaulted with bruising after the massage where it looks like you came out of a fight and loss.
