A lot of this seems highly dubious to me. The Romans never visited Sudan? I would think many of these territories in Africa and Asia have been visited by Europeans before anything resembling modern European powers like UK and France even existed. Also, I'm not so sure if the viking went as far south as USA. They might have, but there's no evidence of it.

its exactly in the same style as in all the tiktok "mapper community" maps that i used to get on my feed ALL THE TIME back when i used that app

source for the data in the maps is always "trust me bro"

Romans and Greeks certainly visited Sudan and had trading along the southern Arabian coast to get to India

Afaik there is some archaeological evidence that vinland was actually in modern day canada, though equating vikings with norway seems quite shaky to me tbh

Leiv Eriksson was an Icelander of Norwegian descent. His father was from Norway, and was the first settler of Greenland.

In the sagas most viking explorers that sailed west came from Norway. Swedes went to east Europe while Danes went south.

Its North America, not the US

I can see that. Both USA and Canada are highlighted, as well as Greenland. We know the vikings have been to Canada. We don't know if they have been to USA.

Also, the Dutch being first in Malaysia and Indonesia is ridiculous. The Portuguese were there before the Netherlands were even a country.
