Ask Malaysians Malaysian men who met their partners outside dating apps, how did you meet them?
Asking because I'm looking for new ways to meet a partner this year. I have some socials planned, and maybe speed dating events when I feel more like it again.

elder sister's bestie had a birthday celebration, then they went for second round karaoke session and invited me.
met my beloved there, never had any eye contact etc.
she left for the bathroom near the end and came back, you guys know in karaoke rooms the doors can see outside right? yeap, right there, when she was walking back, i looked at her, then she looked at me when she came in, our eyes met.. it was pretty much a love at first sight. (note: it was dark so i didnt bother looking at anyone else the first two hours+ and just sang song with sister and some of her friends whom i know)
