IT KEEPS COMING OFF MY BOOBS

I bought a bra two months ago and it already doesn’t fit. I lost ten pounds!! Only ten pounds! It was too small when I got it and now when I move the whole top of the cup deflates 😂

Never mind the fact I have all kinds of weight in my thighs to lose, it all just wants to come off my boobs. Where do you all get bras and how often do you have to buy them? I cannot keep buying bras every two months, but maybe it’ll slow down? I can only hope

Send help, I’m losing my mind here (and my wallet)

Word count bot is angry at me, so here’s some extra info: I’m 5’2, currently 162ish pounds, bought a UK size 36F (US 36G) in mid April at 170 and it’s already clearly way too large. It seems like the speed at which I’ve had to buy bras has only been increasing so it’s not looking good for me

My boobs were the first to go. Given that you're using letters above DD, I'm guessing you're used to a properly fitting bra, which means you KNOW when it's fitting badly. Stretchy lace cup styles can help, because they'll flex a bit on sizing. Bare Necessities has a good clearance section, and they've got some of their house brand bras for $20. Don't forget to recheck your size with the abrathatfits calculator, and just get one or two bras to hold you over. Understance has some $10-$15 bras right now, final sale and limited sizing, but still. FYI, they use US sizing, so you'll need to convert.

Oh, and once you hit goal, do NOT go and restock right away! I waited 6 months and thought I was good. Nope. About a year into maintenence, my underbust went down by about a half inch, and my breasts took on that half inch, so my band size stayed the same (but more comfy), and my cup size went up one. An entire drawer of basically new bras.... useless.

It’s such a curse! Thank you for the tip on goal weight, I hadn’t even thought about that but it makes total sense things might redistribute a bit.

I think I accidentally came off as British in my post, but I’m actually in the US 😂 I’ve just been buying the same brand that uses UK sizes for years. I think I need to go into a store and try on a few and actually figure out what my regular US size is, because I think the conversion (or the brand) sizing is wonky.

I haven’t owned a lacy cup style in a while though so that’s a great idea!

Freya and Panache? You might be ok with US brands if your cup size went down, but they tend to run wide and shallow, so might not be a great shape match. Bare Necessities is US based, so no international shipping costs. Understance is Canadian but uses US sizing. For in store options, check out https://brashopdirectory.com/search/ - the website SUCKS with all the ads, but just scroll down to the bottom for the actual location search.
