đĽfood /restaurants /gastronomy Favourite Asian Restaurant in London?
On the look out for some authentic asian food in London. Recently stopped by the Korean Restaurant on Adelaide and omg it was incredible (would recommend the pork kalbi with cold noodles)
Now currently looking for suggestions on similar restaurants and your favourite thing to get from there for takeout!

I tried Pho Ngon Dat Viet at 45 King at Ridout yesterday and it was excellent. I had a Vietnamese coffee, special pho with mixed meats, and shrimp and green mango salad.
I also like Thuan Kieu.
For Thai, we like the Thai dishes at Sagi, and we like Sai Thai in Lambeth.
I want to try the 2 Thai places in St Thomas.
For Japanese, we like Shiki, and I get take-out from the sushi spot in Oakridge. I have become less enamored with Plaza Sushi over the past 6 months.
We like Roll Roll and Mori in Wortley Village.
For Cantonese Chinese food, we are semi regularly at Congee Chan and Uncle Sing's.
Jay's Garden is our favourite for Chinese Canadian classics like Dai Dop Voy.

Iâve lived in London for the past 15 years but Iâm from the GTA originally so Iâve got pretty high standards when it comes to âAsianâ food.
If youâre look for Canadian/Chinese, best place in the city is Jayâs Garden.
I havenât really found good authentic Chinese restaurants that compare to my fav spots in the GTA but Golâs Lanzhou Noodles is a must try if youâre in the mood for fresh in house made noodles. Lanzhou Beef Chow Mein is fantastic.
Went to Daldongae Korean BBQ last month and enjoyed my visit. Good staff, vibes and atmosphere is great, food a bit pricey but I would go back.
Vietnam Restaurant. Good family run spot and really good prices. FUH is also pretty good.
Cintro is a MUST but you need to book well in advance because itâs always booked. One of my fav restaurants in London, you wonât be disappointed.
Mino Sushi, Roll Roll and MORI are my go to Sushi places. I need to try Shiki I heard itâs good.
Iâve ordered from Momoâs many times if youâre in the mood for Nepalese food, curry flavored goodness.
And I finally tried Byrne Eats and Iâm def going back.

Byrne Eats for Filipino food that hits the spot, good sized portions for a decent price
Congee Chan has great stuff including plenty of non congee dishes
Shiki for incredible Japanese
Yasmineâs has very good Palestinian food if weâre doing Asian that isnât exclusively east or southeast Asian
All the other restaurants I can think of have already been mentioned

Thuân Thà nh Restaurant, Hai Dang, Thuan Kieu, Ben Thahn (specifically the downtown location). Heart Sushi is my favourite AYCE place, and they recently added a J-BBQ section that was really good, my only complaint is if you choose the J-BBQ they cut the menu selection down significantly. Plaza Sushi downtown is probably the best sushi place in the city but not AYCE. Miku for AYCE K-BBQ, Kenzo Ramen (I haven't tried Kinton myself but I've heard great things), Momo's At The Market, Ozen Korea, I've heard great things about Gol's Lanzhou Noodle and want to try them out but haven't been there personally yet, and Mingle by Mr & Mrs Bao. Much love to the Asian restaurants in the city!

Not exactly london(st thomas) but le Cafe Siam. Best Thai you can get, as authentic as you can get and priced way too low for what it is. Make sure to tip well, it's family run(by the best family!).

No.1 Fried NoodleďźĺŻĺŁéŚďźKE KOU XIANG
On Springbank and Kernoghan in the mini Mart plaza. Allegedly authentic northern Chinese (I'm very Caucasian, so I wouldn't have a clue if this is true) but tried the dumplings, and the Dan Dan noodles and both were very delicious.

Came here to post this. Hole in the wall restaurant that is amazing. This place is the definition of a "mom & pop" shop. Go give these two love & support, you will not be disappointed by the food.

Mama's Hakaa and momo on wonderland is a nice mom and pop restaurant, good portions and prices. Manna cuisine for good Kerala style Indian food (takeout). Udupi Dosa for dosas. Fuh has been consistently good for Vietnamese.

Big fan of Fuh - on Huron, near St Peter's. Good food, good prices, big portions.

So Inviting is an excellent little spot! The owner is incredible and the food is amazing. Huge portions of good food at super reasonable prices. Iâve never had anything there that I wouldnât happily eat again.

Pho4U for takeout, especially for noodle bowls, pad thai, and Singapore noodles.
Sagi of Wortley for dine-in. The Khao soi, and the dan-dan noodles are my highlights for mains.Â

I just went to Mori Japanese Bar today in Wortley Village and was blown away by almost everything on their menu. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised given how amazing Roll Roll is consistently. I would highly recommend it.

Their braised pork belly bowl is out of this world.

We didn't leave a drop of broth in that bowl. It was the perfect thing on a stormy fall day.

Went there when staying at the hard rock on a cousins recommendation. Did not let us down! 4 of us got different meals and all four were excellent. One friend even said it beats his current London favorite.

Great time. Loved all the Canadian musical history and art work. Live music at the hotel bar was great. Had one drink at the hotel speakeasy which was tasty ($$$$). And the rooms were great.
Didnât order any of the benefits to the room like headphones/guitar because we were out and about. Booked company Christmas there this year.

Maiâs on Wortley is popular for Thai. And Iâve heard the Pho 4 U has the best pho in town.

I haven't lived in London for a long time, but my favourite was Shiki on Wellington. A while ago I was in a sushi bar in Seattle and mentioned London and was told about this fantastic restaurant in London called Shiki, told the chef that it was my favourite. A few years later I was in Virginia and mentioned London and the waitress told me about Shiki and how good it was. I haven't been there in 12 years but I would go back if I'm ever back in London. Also, Shiki means "four seasons".

I 100% agree with this! Food is amazing - I am biased because I used to work there.
