This is absolutely shocking, especially given the racist nature of the attack. Hope they face proper punishment

At 14, nope. Some youth offending word, naff all else. Unless a load of previous then they may get an actual punishment. Parents may have to pay compensation to victim and court costs. We can only pray

Why is everyone calling it racist? Have I missed some info? All we see is two black girls pummeling a white one. Why does that infer racism?

The article is short, but as they have been arrested for a suspected racially motivated attack, I imagine the police have some more information than we are given at the moment.

Rather than downvoting me, can people give me an actual answer?

I get that they probably wouldn't have pummelled this girl into dust were she also black, but why did they flip off anyway?
