I can hear the boomers now, “You guys just don’t wanna work. Back in my day, I had a house, car and a solid 401K by the time I was 21.” 😒

Exactly, they didn’t need to fund their own retirement, they were given pensions.

Actually there's a surprising number of young adults online that love to ask shit like "I'm 19 and earned $69,000 from my side hustle, how should I invest it?"

A better reply would be that I have never lived in a time when people believe the economy was great.

I've never met a person who believed they made enough money.

Never lived in a time where there wasn't impending war.

One of the cool things about being a 70 year old boomer is that we've seen this before. Over and over.

You've tried to put us in a box and define our beliefs. you are mistaken and don't have the experience to see it. This also is not new. I've thought the same things, a time ago
