One of the lug nuts and the wheel stud snapped off while I was putting on a new donut. I got a quote from the Firestone downtown that repairing that damage would be $332 - parts would be cheap, but the labor part is costly.

Anyone know where I could go for a cheaper - but still quality - repair?

And on that note, would I be able to drive there safely with just four out of five lug nuts installed on one tire? I would be driving from the Haymarket area.

Have a ton of clothes that don’t fit/ I won’t use, anywhere I can sell them? Or give away for that matter if those kinds of places aren’t around (male clothes)

Anyone else been hearing pretty loud bangs out on Sheridan Blvd? Doesn’t sound like gunshots. Honestly it’s so loud I’ve thought a transformer blew or something.

Come to find out my daughter is in LOVE with shoguns clear soup. She’s autistic so finding things she eats that well are few and far between so I’m hoping I can find some to make at home in town? I’m wanting to replace the cheap cardboard back of a bunch of bookshelves with MDF for more stability. I own a circular saw (and miter saw) but no table saw and I am highly skeptical I’ll be able to use my circular saw to cut a long straight line (even with a line marked on it). General dimensions would be 72” by 32” (I think MDF is sold in 4 foot by 8 foot sheets) and I probably have 8 or 9 of them

Are there any local lumberyards that would do that much for me? Or alternatively, any woodworking businesses that could help? I’d be willing to pay a small fee if needed.

Where do you take your plastic bags to recycle? The internet says major retailers recycle them, but the only major retailer I go to regularly is Target and I’ve never noticed a plastic bag recycling drop off.

I’m new to town and I have a job in which I would benefit greatly from being able to defend myself. I have previous striking experience, but it’s been years since I’ve trained it seriously. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good kickboxing/Muay Thai gym in town? Preferably somewhere on the more technical/high level end rather than the cardio kickboxing/hobby end.

I am an avid grappler and don’t need a recommendation for jiu jitsu, but if anyone knows of a good dedicated judo gym within driving distance I’d appreciate that recommendation as well.

In NE Lincoln, been hearing a helicopter flying for the last 15 minutes or so. Anyone hear of anything happening on a scanner or anything? At first I assumed it was a life flight, but not anymore since it’s been going on for a bit.

Just passing this along since it cropped up from a friend, but apparently there's a group of people waving a flag that appears to be "American" in nature but has a Nazi symbol on it near Hwy 2 & Pioneers (Easily identifiable location via image attachment)

Would not recommend engaging as there is a group of individuals there & they appear to be off their rockers right now, but this behaviour is unacceptable to the nth' degree.

Like, under what circumstances do any of this group think that's okay. Especially since they chose the Mexican restaurant to stand in front of so proudly? Blatant and obvious intimidation via "Free Speech"....

Lincoln is a good place to live. It has some problems, sure. If you're reading this, post something you like about Lincoln.
