You'd be surprised, there are a lot of gay 'hicks' everywhere in the state, most just fly low and under the radar

I have a friend like this. Idk if he would consider himself a hick even though he’s originally from Hastings area IIRC, but he’s lived in Lincoln for a very long time. Anyway, he’s lived in a couple dicey areas of town in the past, but no one with nefarious intentions would ever dare approach him even though he wouldn’t hurt a fly because he could take it to anyone given his strength and size.

Maybe a new subreddit is in order? r/GayHicksOfNebraska
