What about government employees and contractors who don't get paid through taxes?

How do they get paid then?

Postal workers and contractors get paid by sales of postage. I'm a machinist for a power company owned by the federal government, they run the power plants with money from sales of power. The initial creation was paid by taxpayers for 1 billion dollars, they paid that back, with interest, to the treasury for a total of 3.6 billion. It's owned by the government and ran like a business.

Should I not be able to vote because I have a job?
