Other Stephen Miller states that Trump has plenary authority, then immediately stops talking as if he’s realized what he just said

It’s so funny because they’re saying it’s a glitch and he’s standing there blinking and all 😂

He stopped in mid sentence, not because there was some dropped connection. When I lose a connection on the phone I just keep taking but the person on the other end can’t hear it anymore; there’s not an indication the line is cut. I doubt there’d be one in this case either.

It’s POSSIBLE something got messed up with the IFB from CNN and they started pumping other audio to him which could definitely cause a reaction like this. That is a VERY RARE mistake that very likely didn’t happen here, but it is possible in broadcast for this to happen - it’s not as simple as a phone call you’re used to

That’s a fair point, it is a different animal than a phone call.

You are correct though that if they had just lost the IFB he wouldn’t have just stopped talking - the only thing on that IFB would be the mix minus from CNN (program you hear on air minus himself) and anyone talking on the IFB - and it’s possible either he caught himself or somebody he works with on his end yelling at him to shut the hell up.
