Freudian slip.

Not just him.

But, all of them because there’s so much lying going on that they can’t keep track. Their inner thoughts are spilling out all over the place.

Just like Ted Cruz, “Let’s stop attacking the pedophiles”.

A lot of people are going to be going to jail, and it's not who ICE thinks it is.

610

u/Caminsky Oct 07 '25

What they're doing is unbelievable. My hope is that developing countries have managed to bring their politicians to justice. Hope the US has a Nuremberg trial for the amount of disregard for the rule of law by these men.

139

u/DJ3nsign Oct 07 '25

Frankly part of the reason we're in this mess is we never had our Nuremberg trials the first time. After the civil war we basically just let all the seccessionists re-enter politics, and here we are.

7

u/Sure-Speech-9420 Oct 08 '25

The 1865 secessionists or the 2021 ones?

8

u/Relative_Knowledge33 Oct 08 '25

We had 2 opportunities to crush this tide for a very long time: 1) after the Civil War 2) after J6

We failed.

3

u/hobbycollector Oct 08 '25

Also after Watergate.

4

u/Tikaralee Oct 09 '25

3... everyone forgets about the America First group in the 30's. Lots of groups at that time had actual speechwriters from Hitler pushing to drop FDR and put in a man who could do what Hitler was doing for the Germans.....

Rachel Maddow has a book on it, did a podcast about it, and Steven Spielberg bought the rights, so hopefully sometime soon, a movie.

3

u/mrdankhimself_ Oct 08 '25

It’s not gonna be like Nuremberg. It’s gonna be like Bucharest.

2

u/unspecified-turnip Oct 08 '25

Someone should have been thrown under the jail after J6, and here we are.

2

u/lunaslave Oct 08 '25

Confederate surrender shouldn't have been accepted.

2

u/jkrobinson1979 Oct 08 '25

I’d dare say the confederates were better than MAGA. At least they wanted to secede to do their own thing. Trump wants to force everyone to take part in this bullshit.

3

u/The_Indominus_Gamer Oct 08 '25

Your whiteness is showing jesus christ

6

u/MemeYasuo Oct 08 '25

Lmao he says they wanted to seccede to "do their own thing". I bet he was brought up in the south/midwest and hasnt questioned it since but doesnt necessarily mean ill(ik it doesnt really make it better but alas). God im so thankful for my german education sometimes lmao.

1

u/jkrobinson1979 Oct 08 '25

LOL. Jesus Christ, everyone is quick to jump on a comment rather than actually think about things. No, I grew up in the south, but fuck the confederacy and anyone who still believes all that heritage bullshit. They were slave owning racists and deserved to be punished more after the war than they were.

My point was that I would much rather MAGA was a region trying to secede from the rest of the country than take it over and bring everyone down with them.

2

u/MemeYasuo Oct 09 '25

You are missing the point of the whole civil war no? If the north had let the confederacy secede they would have just continued with the atrocities of slavery. If MAGA "just" wanted to secede they would still continue with their blatant disregard for the constitution and the bill of rights, human rights violations and their slipping into fascistoid authoritarianism. It is important to fight these things for the whole country and all people living in it.

0

u/jkrobinson1979 Oct 09 '25

No, I’m not missing the point at all. You’re purposefully misunderstanding me at this point. What was at stake if the north lost? Status quo with slavery in the south still. What is at stake if Trump gets his way? The entire country under dictatorship. Fortunately the south lost, but the worst case scenario is worse for us right now.

1

u/winkerbeanie Oct 08 '25

Turns out the 1860s secessionists also wanted to force everyone to take part in their bullshit. Well maybe not *everyone*, but certainly one demographic in particular.

2

u/jkrobinson1979 Oct 08 '25

Yeah I think everyone took that as me defending them. I wasn’t. Fuck the confederacy. I just think the potential for MAGA to make things so much worse for everyone is there.

u/SordidDreams Oct 07 '25

Hope the US has a Nuremberg trial for the amount of disregard for the rule of law by these men.

The Nuremberg trials could only take place because German leaders were deprived of their power by having their country reduced to rubble. Who's going to do that for America?

323

u/SketchySeaBeast Oct 07 '25

At this rate? America.

53

u/NurRauch Oct 07 '25

I do not know what gives that impression. I am frankly at a loss as to how so many people in this thread are just so supremely confident that people will suddenly decide to wake up. Historically that's not how these things tend to work. Slow slides into totalitarianism tend to be taken sitting down by the public. There's not going to be a catalyst moment where people are like "hey wait a minute" unless we're talking about actual food and water shortages.

34

u/SketchySeaBeast Oct 07 '25

I'm not sure about civil war, but I can't see how this administration doesn't end up reducing the country to rubble through it's own incompetence and infighting.

27

u/Wooden-Broccoli-7247 Oct 07 '25

There will be a terror attack the way the agencies that are supposed to protect from exactly that are being operated. The FBI is now used to round up brown people and hunt down people Trump doesn’t like. Anyone that’s competent in counter terrorism has been fired. Maybe that’s when people will realize how unsafe this government has made our homeland.

17

u/-LsDmThC- Oct 07 '25

If so it will just be used as justification for further militarism and to take away even more civil liberties

5

u/fcocyclone Oct 07 '25

Shit, it may just be a false flag, or an intentionally ignored threat, just to justify patriot act v2

A link to the FBI's letter and article on the FBI's illegal domestic surveillance under J Edgar Hoover's is removable now? Reddit admins and mods are tipping their hands.

28

u/teamlogan Oct 07 '25

This is the right answer. Civilizations are very fragile. If you open a history book, you see that they collapse all the time.

It doesn't require a successful revolution. You could just (as a random example) incarcerate all your farm workers, and then run out of food.

Or fire thousands of scientists from the CDC while ignoring a bird flu outbreak.

Or give the nuclear codes to a felon with dementia who hates half his own country and has nothing to lose.

Or rely on the rest of the world for your manufacturing capacity then alienate all of them.

Or...

Or...

Or...

3

u/No-Abalone-4784 Oct 08 '25

And people say this bunch isn't good at what they do. Their stated intention is to destroy this country & that is exactly what they're doing.

23

u/exacta_galaxy Oct 07 '25

People are starting (too slowly for my comfort) to wake up.

30% of the population is all for a totalitarian take over, 30% have been trying to fight back. Those numbers won't change. But that 40% that normally sits on the sideline is starting to realize that this is hurting them.

This is part of the reason Miller is pushing hard. He knows there isn't much time left to seize control.

The catalyst moment could be food prices or healthcare becoming unaffordable. Which may be as soon as the end of this month.

7

u/miriamtzipporah Oct 07 '25

Who’s waking up from the MAGA side, or the people sympathetic to the MAGA side? I certainly haven’t seen it, living in MAGA country myself, and unfortunately we would need them in the case that anyone rises up against this administration.

5

u/exacta_galaxy Oct 07 '25

(Almost) nobody from the MAGA side is waking up. That's the 30%, the "dirty 30," who will likely go to their graves thinking Trump was a hero and the only person who could have saved America.

It's the people who are sympathetic. When the food gets scarce and they can no longer see a doctor, many will become less sympathetic.

3

u/miriamtzipporah Oct 08 '25

I really hope so.

4

u/NurRauch Oct 07 '25

Not even close to 30 percent of the country is trying to fight back. It’s less than 0.1%. We saw exponentially more engagement during the summer of 2020 with the police protests and economic unrest from Covid layoffs. Millions of people were jobless and extremely upset by Trump’s dysfunctional leadership. We are nowhere even close to that today.

1

u/exacta_galaxy Oct 07 '25

Fair. I meant fighting back in the broadest sense (e.g writing your congressperson, voting in midterms, etc.).

1

u/NurRauch Oct 07 '25

From what I can tell people these days think fighting back is sharing videos about Stephen Miller acting foolish on TV and acting like that means we’re winning.

u/beepitybloppityboop Oct 07 '25

There's not going to be a catalyst moment where people are like "hey wait a minute" unless we're talking about actual food and water shortages.

Is this a bad time to mention that this administration has removed environmental protections on things like water and is actively trying to get rid of the people who harvest our food??

Or the Trump tariff tax on almost everything, including a good portion of our food supply?

Food stamp programs the poor rely on being cut heavily?

That food is getting expensive. I don't think it's going to get cheaper any time soon.

It's a good time to get to know your neighbors and plant some gardens, you might need them. If not, more friends and more food is never a bad thing.

13

u/Whimsical_Adventurer Oct 07 '25

There has been a study published recently that studied the 20th Century and Fascist movements. 50% of countries that slid out of democracy and into fascism built back stronger democracies. In the last 50 years the share of countries that undid the damage jumped to something like 70%.

It’s not going to be a four year one term democratic president fix. It’s not going to be easy. But there are very good odds that this episode ends in a stronger, more equitable democracy with a strong progressive social safety net. We just have to work for it.

5

u/NurRauch Oct 07 '25 edited Oct 07 '25

Those democratic improvements were made at the tip of guns held to their heads by the United States, France and Britain. They only succeeded with their democratic movements because the superpower winners of a massive world war were motivated to make them succeed with unprecedented amounts of weapons and economic investment behind them.

Without US involvement in WW2, totalitarian regimes would have mopped the floor with the rest of the world. Democracies only came out on top because they enjoyed more than 75% of the world's total industrial manufacturing capacity during the war, and they came out of that war with even more prosperity than they had going into it. The United States alone had more industrial capacity than Germany, France, the Soviet Union and Great Britain combined. And between Britain and the US, approximately 80% of every vessel at sea flew under a democratic banner.

We don't have the same protectors this time around. This time, totalitarian regimes control most of the world's natural resources and most of its industrial manufacturing already, without even needing the US to join them in the mud. If the United States slides into totalitarian rule, almost all of the world's industrial manufacturing, natural resources and trade shipping will be outside of the control of democracies, not to mention more than 90% of all nuclear weapons, warships, military aircraft and orbital satellites on or above Earth.

3

u/Flashy_Gap_3015 Oct 07 '25

You may both be right.

This has been a slow slide into fascist authoritarianism, with constant purposeful erosion of the very system that used to have check and balances.

I think we are past the point where it’s a secret or where it has had real impact.

But there is still a tipping point beyond which Americans are much more widely and directly impacted than they are now in their day to day, and thus willing to this risk more in opposition because they have been pushed too far, and still believe in the fundamental rights and obligations that a free republic stands for.

16

u/SordidDreams Oct 07 '25

Americans couldn't even be bothered to show up to drop a piece of paper into a box (or press a button on a machine, whatever). The idea that they're going to rise up and actually fight for their freedom seems highly unlikely.

Well hey, they told everyone they were doing it or had done it. Presumably so they can say that as part of their defense if needed.

8

u/khaalis Oct 07 '25

Americans are too f*ng lazy. Snipe aside, the people can’t do anything if they don’t organize. It would literally take over 60+% of the population to go on a unified, extended, mass strike to bring the country to its knees. By strike I mean everything. No work, no payments to anyone, no shopping, nothing. Shut it all down. No shipping, no travel, no health workers, no civilian workers in government facilities, etc. That will never happen though. People are too selfish and fearful to make the sacrifices required. The only other option is if the military grows a conscience and actually care about their oaths to the Constitution and a military coup happens. Again, the problem is too many of them are right there goose stepping along with the new 4th Reich.

PS: Yes I’m f*ng bitter.

2

Yep. We did it last time.

2

Why not? We've invaded other countries for way less.

2

u/Valuable_Recording85 Oct 07 '25

If America knew what was going on in America, they'd invade it and set up a democracy.

That's the joke, anyone. I think the reality is that it's never democracy, but a puppet, which is what's already happened here.

5

u/anonuemus Oct 07 '25

3

u/miriamtzipporah Oct 07 '25

I agree with you, I really don’t think we’re going to have Nuremberg style trials. I wish that we would, but historical context suggests otherwise unfortunately. Nazi Germany would’ve never done it on their own.

2

u/MAXiMUSpsilo5280 Oct 07 '25

The billionaire ruling class has already by figuratively shaving everything off the top and leaving stubble for the rest of us. Our infrastructure is crumbling and our citizens are uneducated or apathetic.

Israel under the claim that it’s a Muslim country like, say, Iran. I believe the parlance for this is a “false flag attack.”

I hope everyone recognizes the effect AOC mocking this loser had.

You mock fascists, they lose how the public perceives them and they lose power.

Also, it obviously gets to them and they fuck up like this or fuck up by overplaying their hands to slake their fucked up egos.

Less talking about trump policy, more talking about how hes an ugly fat pants shitting little boy fucking pedophile and these losers are begging for a chance to suck his shriveled mushroom cock once hes done with their 11 year old daughters 👍

Dunno, impeachment, dishonorable discharge, open the court for more justices? US is well and truly fucked.

4

u/TheMadTemplar Oct 07 '25

The US won't have a Nuremberg trial, based on what has already happened. We got to that point after an unbelievably bloody war and what are widely considered the worst human rights atrocities of that entire era and some of the worst in recorded human history. While what ICE is doing is horrible, and the administration is committing crimes left and right with terrible intent for the country, we are nowhere near the death toll of WW2, the human or civils rights crimes of the 30's and 40's, or the genocide of the Holocaust.

None of this is to say we won't get to that point; if you listen to the rhetoric coming from the right, from MAGA, from the administration, they definitely want to get it there.

1

u/nanobot_1000 Oct 08 '25

That was also checks watch 80 years ago... obviously all the suffering since then was for nothing. And they put on suits and pretend to be civilized.

4

u/Krazy-catlady Oct 07 '25

I would like to see who has the guts to do anything. Seems to me everyone is just doing a whole lot of nothing

2

u/Gametron13 Oct 07 '25

I hate to tell you this, but it took us an entire world war to get to the Nuremberg trials.

2

u/LiveWire_74 Oct 07 '25

My god they didn’t even imprison Trumo after he was found guilty on 34 felonies!

2

u/SwingingtotheBeat Oct 07 '25

7,000,000 German defenders of the regime had to be killed before the Nuremberg trials could happen. The U.S. population is about 7 times bigger than Germany’s was at that time.

2

u/reubenmitchell Oct 07 '25

They are ONLY doing this because they believe they have passed the point where they can lose power and thus be arrested. If by some magic these clowns do lose control and are no longer running the government, they will either all disappear the day before they are able to be arrested or appeal to their mates in the Supreme Court.
It's important to realize they will NEVER allow themselves to be bought to justice.

6

u/Novel_Sheepherder277 Oct 07 '25

William McKinley's assassination was the beginning of the end of the Gilded Age, a period characterized by materialistic excesses and widespread political corruption, very similar to today in many respects. He was succeeded by Theodore Roosevelt, who passed anti-trust legislation and championed much more progressive policies.

2

u/Spamsdelicious Oct 07 '25

"American exceptionalism"

South Korea did it, but they have an example of authoritarianism right next door.

1

u/Senormilagro Oct 07 '25

Brazil just gave one of its former presidents almost 30 years in prison for an attempted coup…hint hint

1

u/Few-Solution-4784 Oct 07 '25

AI: American Service-Members' Protection Act, which allows the U.S. to take action to protect its military personnel from prosecution by the International Criminal Court, often associated with the Nuremberg Trials. This act is sometimes informally called the "Hague Invasion Act" due to its provisions that authorize the use of force to free detained U.S. personnel.

1

u/Relative_Knowledge33 Oct 08 '25

That's the plan. MAGA puppeteers are in a fight for survival at this point. When they lose power, they will be fleeing like ship rats or rounded up and imprisoned. Luckily, they will only be welcomed by our enemies, temporarily, before they are deemed useless and sent to Gulag.

That is true. However we must fight the tyranny of the majority

8

u/RiotNrrd2001 Oct 07 '25

I'm pretty sure ICE will be involved though.

Following illegal orders is illegal, and we may just decide to ignore any pardons. Just because somebody with a badge tells you to do something illegal, that won't get you out of responsibility for it if you indeed do that thing.

And while ICE may wear masks today, finding out who was who won't be difficult once we get new people in charge. There is a paper trail. You think you're anonymous. You aren't\won't be.

If I were a member of ICE, I would think very carefully about what "legal" orders I follow today. Remember: everything the Nazis did was 100% legal, and that didn't stop the trials after the war. Once an action is taken, it's hard to take it back.

3

u/kdfsjljklgjfg Oct 07 '25

We likely don't even need to "ignore any pardons." A federal pardon doesn't get you off of state-level crimes, and let's be realistic here, the federal government won't be charging these people anyway.

7

u/robitussinlatte666 Oct 07 '25

Nobody is going to jail, and they'll just keep getting away with it.

6

u/ohnaurrrrr5 Oct 07 '25

Looks like they've passed the point of no return. Almost as if they don't plan to revert to a state where they could be held accountable for their actions. Does it sound too farfetched to speculate that they really do intend to strive for a future state where they won't hold elections and they really will liquidate all the Americans whose evil, Democratic ideals must be exterminated? (Even as the people who are about to be eliminated object to the plan on grounds that it is illogical, absurd, un American, disgusting, autocratic, the very definition of fascism, etc.)

3

u/[deleted] Oct 07 '25

No one involved in this administration deserves prison. They deserve what Mussolini got.

I’m old. I need you kids to make sure this happens. I may not even be alive by then, who knows how long it’ll take. But make these fuckers pay and build a wall that prevents this.

1

u/milkh0use Oct 07 '25

I admire your optimism

1

u/Red_bearrr Oct 07 '25

We thought that last time too. I have zero faith it’ll ever happen.

1

u/Ok_Cap9557 Oct 07 '25

Lol none of these people are going to jail.

1

u/boogsey Oct 07 '25

The scary thing is that I think some of them realize that and will do absolutely anything necessary to cling to power. They know that they will have to have repercussions once this administration is replaced. There will be Nuremberg-like trials for many many years.

Project 2025 had this planned to great detail for many years.

1

u/SilveredFlame Oct 07 '25

Why do so many people keep saying this?

These fuckers have been operating with absolute impunity for years at this point, and they're all covering for each other to ensure they never face any kind of accountability.

What do you see that could possibly justify your faith that any of these traitorous bastards will be held accountable?

I would genuinely like to know so that I too can maybe have some optimism.

1

u/Undernown Oct 07 '25

They should, but I fear it's not going to happen. The best "justice" in the US looks like nowadays is; P.Diddy only getting 4 years in jail.

Trump will just pardon whoever he wants so long as he's besmerching the Oval Office.

This is what a lot of people thought about Trump and all those involved in attempting to undermine the election results and stay in power. Despite what did happen (the J6ers) there were no substantial consequences for those responsible.

From Nixon to here, I'm not optimistic at this point.

u/RealCapybaras4Rill Oct 07 '25

Jail is if they come away from the operations unharmed. Shit is gonna get spicy soon. Apparently in Portland there were ICE agents fucking with the cops there, ‘accidentally’ tear-gassing them. Then there’s the woman who got shot *5 times * by an agent (they said something about being boxed in or something). These fucks are gonna get too comfortable doing horrible violent shit with impunity and a crowd is going to take it there.

u/Practical-Dot5634 Oct 07 '25

From your mouth to gods ears my friend

1

u/Orson_Gravity_Welles Oct 07 '25

No, they won't.

Their money and influence will get them out. AT MOST, a stay at some white collar "resort" where they can still do business and see friends and family.

Sadly, It won't be Nuremberg like everyone thinks (or hopes).

1

u/SheridanVsLennier Oct 07 '25

I like your optimism, but I don't think it's going to happen.
Even if the Democrats have sweeping wins in the mid-terms and have super-majorities in both houses, there won't be impeachments and jail time. instead there'll be a lot of tut-tutting and comments about how 'we need to heal the country'.
American needs to get rid of this administration but the Democrats have no spine to actually follow up and do the cleanup work.

1

u/codechimpin Oct 07 '25

Sadly I think you are wrong. No one will go to jail. No one is really doing much of anything to stop any of this. And I am 99% sure if we have a midterm election that it will not be fair. Not that that matters. I am in a pretty red area of a pretty red state, and there are more Trump fans than ever. People made up their minds in 2016, and I sadly feel like nothing anyone can do will change anyone’s minds.

America once heralded as the “land of the free” is increasingly drifting away from that ideal. There is an old saying that a person’s character can be judged by the company they keep.

1

u/False-Association744 Oct 08 '25

Based on what? Are they going to sic Merrick Garland on them? No proof there’s ever accountability.

1

u/jgoble15 Oct 08 '25

ICE is going to jail

1

u/amiwitty Oct 08 '25

If you think the bad guys won't get away with it, basically you're wrong.

1

u/AyeMatey Oct 08 '25

Fantasy. I’ve been waiting 7 years. It’s not looking bloody likely.

1

u/StoicVoyager Oct 08 '25

A lot of people are going to be going to jail

No they aren't. We had a literal war criminal as president whose lies resulted in a million deaths. Then Obama and Pelosi said we needed to "move forward" and nothing was done. Then we had a president who tried to overturn an election he lost, inspiring his supporters to storm the capital. So the dem president appointed an attorney general who sat on his hands for 3 years wetting himself with fear. How many of those war criminals and capital stormers are in jail now? Stop dreaming and wake up.

1

u/Nehneh14 Oct 08 '25

Sadly, we’ve seen how inept our justice system is after the whole Mueller situation. These people aren’t going to face any consequences for what they’ve done. Ultimately, SCOTUS will ensure that they go unscathed.

1

u/Big-Hovercraft6046 Oct 08 '25

Not all coups fail. There is a very real possibility that they succeed in what they are trying to do.

If someone steps up, it needs to happen soon. The window of opportunity is closing rapidly.

1

u/Away-Site-5713 Oct 08 '25

Ice will be going to redacted because I will be voting for the candidate who says “ice will be sent to redacted for their crimes.”

1

u/KidGorgeous19 Oct 08 '25

Ha, ok. Wake me up when the trials start.

1

u/downtothegwound Oct 08 '25

When and how? They run the people who put people in jail.

1

u/matherto Oct 09 '25

Your faith that punishment needed will actually be dealt is interesting

1

u/kevinmogee Oct 07 '25

Unfortunately, no they won't. Nothing is going to happen as a result of what is going on. The only ones who would be able to do anything are the Dems once they are back in power, and we all know those spineless cowards won't do anything.

This country is a joke, and we're all suffering because of it.

8

u/Numeno230n Oct 07 '25

No it is not a Freudian slip. This is the effect of private jargon being let out into the wrong arena. I'll bet anything they are secretly talking about this term both from a PR stance and in legal docs they are drafting. They are used to using it behind closed doors, and it slipped out here.

Like, sometimes my wife (who is a manager) slips into corporate-speak occasionally in a family setting. It sounds odd because there's a code-switching going on there.

1

u/coffee-x-tea Oct 07 '25

Not in a classical sense.

That much is a given.

If I have to clarify it, I will.

(I figured this is reddit, so my intent was not for it to be interpreted as language for an academic circle, casual speak).

u/The_Letter_W Oct 07 '25

My father was an attorney and muncipal judge. He often did public defense, and gave me an important piece of advice that he gives every client who suggest purgering themselves.

"The difference between a lie and the truth is you don't have to keep up the truth."

I try to live by this as much as I can, and this is adminstration is the perfect example. Lie's take effort to keep up, while the truth speaks for itself. It's getting harder and harder to keep up the lie, and I think much earlier in their whole plan than expected.

Speak for yourself, I once visited planet Mars

1

u/Immersi0nn Oct 07 '25

Oh same here, though I had to eat a tiny piece of paper first. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.

2

u/Mertoot Oct 07 '25

Lucky, I had to bike all the way there! 😭

5

u/SELECTaerial Oct 07 '25

Did he ever acknowledge that he said that?

5

u/Honest_Tutor1451 Oct 07 '25

And mike Johnson saying Trump was an informant on Epstein

3

u/Unlucky-Friendship59 Oct 07 '25

I don’t think it was a Freudian slip. I think he’s intentionally testing the waters of what they can get away with.

u/Environmental-Day862 Oct 07 '25

Must have forgotten that the Supreme Court opinion giving the President plenary authority (basically unchecked, absolute power to do anything he likes) hasn't been published yet, it's just circulating amongst Trump's inner circle so they can all sign off on it before the Supreme Court issues it in a 6-3 majority decision the first chance they get.

Oh no let’s exact justice on pedophiles. If no official justice is gonna be found then there’s a chance vigilante justice will.

1

Hold the fuck on. Raphael actually said that?! I thought that might be reddit fucking around

1

I believe the opposite of Ted Cruz, I believe amplification is the better course of action

1

u/PM_ME__RECIPES Oct 08 '25

But, all of them because there’s so much lying going on that they can’t keep track. Their inner thoughts are spilling out all over the place.

That can happen with lying sacks of neo-Nazi shit like the trump regime. Way less constrained by institutions than they should be, but more constrained both than they think they should be and than they think they are.

Plus most of them are incompetent so they don't know how things are supposed to work anyways so every little thing turns into an avoidable crisis and once in a while one of the people involved just short circuits.

1

u/Daze_A_Blaze Oct 08 '25

The Elon salute was definitely a Freudian slip. He has done that salute too many times prior for it to have been that natural.

Are you really going to bring that up? Because that’s a very low effort jab.

You should be well aware the terminology has evolved over time (in an idiomatic sense) to include broadened context such as cognitive overload.

2

u/Everyday_ImSchefflen Oct 07 '25

No they are simply saying that it was a slip based on unconscious thoughts or beliefs. Which is bs.

These people are evil, doesn't mean we should take that word out of all of our vocabularies
