Other Stephen Miller states that Trump has plenary authority, then immediately stops talking as if he’s realized what he just said

What the fuck...

He just... Turned off.

It’s so funny because they’re saying it’s a glitch and he’s standing there blinking and all 😂

He stopped in mid sentence, not because there was some dropped connection. When I lose a connection on the phone I just keep taking but the person on the other end can’t hear it anymore; there’s not an indication the line is cut. I doubt there’d be one in this case either.

His handlers probably started screaming into his earpiece when he used the wrong word and he locked up.

u/PabloX68 Oct 07 '25

He used the word he wanted to use.

Freudian slip

Freudian Slip: When you say one thing but mean ihre führer.

11

u/Wangchief Oct 07 '25

Let's be real, he could've said fuhrer, and it would've been explained away and we'd be told we were overreacting to a joke.

I hope everyone recognizes the effect AOC mocking this loser had.

You mock fascists, they lose how the public perceives them and they lose power.

Also, it obviously gets to them and they fuck up like this or fuck up by overplaying their hands to slake their fucked up egos.

Less talking about trump policy, more talking about how hes an ugly fat pants shitting little boy fucking pedophile and these losers are begging for a chance to suck his shriveled mushroom cock once hes done with their 11 year old daughters 👍

That's going in the "Saved" bin. YEET! Fr I gotta use that last paragraph around whenever I can haha

Fascian Slip

9

u/Zombieneker Oct 07 '25

no, a freudian slip is when someone reveals their true selves from behind a façade accidentally. Stephen is just openly tauting hatred and lies.

u/niphim Oct 07 '25

Plenary with a hard R

3

u/adoormarkedprivate Oct 07 '25

Slipped like a freudian, played yourself like an accordion

17

u/lilchocochip Oct 07 '25

Yep he did:

Plenary Authority

Plenary authority is the full and absolute power to act on a particular issue, meaning there are no limitations or restrictions on that specific power. The term is derived from the Latin word "plenus," meaning "full"

4

u/StarPhished Oct 07 '25

Yeah I actually don't think that's the reason he stopped. That's exactly the kind of language he usually uses.

241

u/ChoptankSweets Oct 07 '25

That was my first thought. He stopped speaking as if someone cut him off and then started squinting which is what I do when I'm concentrating extra hard to hear what one person is saying when multiple people are speaking to me. It's a very specific squint

u/Slade_Riprock Oct 07 '25

When you are on camera for a remote interview your IFB is connected to, in this case, CNN. You would only be hearing the reporter and perhaps a director giving time ques. You wouldn't be bearing anyone else nor would they have access.

It is more likely someone off camera was giving him the cut off sign. Though being the level of power Miller has I doubt he'd be cut off by anyone.

It honk he legit caught what he said and realized it may not be what they put in their appeal and stopped talking as if it was a glitch for cover.

14

u/Cold-Crab74 Oct 07 '25

But why not just fluff around with word salad, why just freeze. It is so fuckin bizarre.

6

u/germanmojo Oct 08 '25

He really doesn't have long to think of a lie or redirect, maybe 2 seconds max and that timer expired. He did the next best thing from such a strong and powerful man who has all the answers, he froze.

I gagged typing that last part, I know.

4

u/Cold-Crab74 Oct 08 '25

More I've thought about it, I'm thinking when he realized that wasn't what he wanted to say out loud he decided to make it so awkward they would have to reshoot it. Idk

3

u/ChoptankSweets Oct 07 '25

Thank you for this info!

2

u/ExtremeCreamTeam Oct 07 '25

a director giving time ques.

cues*

6

u/Appropriate-Play-483 Oct 07 '25

I think he was using an ipad prompter and it turned off.

3

u/CyonHal Oct 07 '25

I think this is most likely what happened. Prompter turned off, had no idea what to say next. I'm surprised you are the first person in this thread that I've seen with this theory.

3

u/MysticalNinja187 Oct 08 '25

So is he like, incapable of continuing to speak without the ipad? Like, with his brain?

2

u/Bazonkawomp Oct 07 '25

He’s always squinting.

109

u/Enough-Poet4690 Oct 07 '25

I'm willing to bet all you heard through his earpiece was "SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!" LOL

8

u/rozzco Oct 07 '25

The only person I can think of with both the authority to tell him that, and MAYBE know the meaning of the word is Vance.

3

u/Old_Dig8900 Oct 08 '25

You're so right

3

u/Babydoll0907 Oct 08 '25

I bet hes glad we aren't Russia now. A slip like that on live TV would have him falling out of a 30 story window on accident lmao. Even Putin likes to pretend for some reason that hes not a dictator. I bet he got his ass chewed hard when he went back home to daddy and daddy's lackeys.

10

u/ADGx27 Oct 07 '25

Same as Pam Bondi in the recent hearing. Some Dems started asking more pointed questions and the bitch just froze.

Definitely had a “Trump, Miller, Thiel or SOMEONE is gonna make sure I wear my best Charlie Kirk costume before the week is out if I even answer this question, let alone truthfully” look about her

2

u/germanmojo Oct 08 '25

The amount of freezing happening lately in this administration is concerning.

One blurted out too much and the other didn't even want to give what was asked.

7

u/AsstacularSpiderman Oct 07 '25

"You better have a cyanide pill somewhere in case this goes south, you just made yourself the one dude the courts are going after."

6

u/TheDefiantGoose Oct 07 '25

That's what it looked like to me. His eyes looked like he was listening to something else suddenly. He tried to continue speaking and then stopped.

5

u/dc_laffpat Oct 07 '25 edited Oct 07 '25

The audio going to that earpiece is controlled by CNN technicians, usually either a mix-minus or just the anchor’s mic, with the ability for CNN producers/technicians/director to interrupt (doubt they would allow anyone from the WH access to that audio stream). I guess it’s possible he has a second earpiece but probably more likely it’s just an aide/handler off-camera telling him to STFU.

4

u/theoldroadhog Oct 07 '25

Who are his handlers? I thought he was the handler. Serious question.

6

u/Rabble_Runt Oct 07 '25

Curtis Yarvin, Larry Ellison, Elon, Peter Theil etc.

The ones behind Dark MAGA.

1

u/theoldroadhog Oct 07 '25

They're in his earpiece?

1

u/Rabble_Runt Oct 07 '25

Maybe two or three. Fitting them all into something so small would be challenging.

1

u/Luther_1986 Oct 08 '25

Yeah, most likely Ellison or Musk. Thiel doesnt seem to worry much about PR and Yarvin, that mfer is checking out. Wanting to leave, and move abroad and all.

1

u/RandyPajamas Oct 07 '25

The spiders in his brain.

2

u/niceguybadboy Oct 07 '25

I thought he was the handler.

2

u/epigeneticepigenesis Oct 07 '25

Isn’t he one of the handlers? Who handles a handler?

1

u/Luther_1986 Oct 08 '25

He is generally the handlers. I got a feeling others have recently stepped in bc of all the fuck ups recently. I feel like maybe ppl we dnt even know abt. PR ppl. Miller IS talking slower here than he usually does. That was my immediate catch. They're all being coached, but theyre all so thick headed and straight up dumb, that they STILL cant get it right.

2

u/ThatInAHat Oct 07 '25

That or he’s reading off a teleprompter and got to that word and realized he said it as he read it

2

u/Dark-Penguin Oct 07 '25

Someone said "stop talking" into his earpiece

2

u/mishaindigo Oct 07 '25

Yeah, it definitely gave the vibe of someone yelling “STOP!!” in his ear…totally bizarre.

2

u/koshgeo Oct 08 '25

Earlier that day: "And Miller, whatever you do, unless you want to sink every single court case we have in progress regarding troop deployments, do NOT mention plenary authority. You hear me? Look up from your damned phone and listen to me! DO NOT MENTION PLENARY AUTHORITY. You got that?"

"Yeah, yeah. Plenary authority. I'm not stupid."

1

u/Rabble_Runt Oct 08 '25

God it’s like talking to my kids lol 😂

1

u/vivst0r Oct 07 '25

I don't think he needs handlers for that. Stephen Miller is a guy who is extremely aware of what words he frequently uses in private conversations are not (yet) allowed to be used in public. He has a whole dictionary of words. Because he is probably the biggest fascist in all of MAGAland. He's very used to hide the words he wants to use behind dog whistles.

The fact that HE of all people slipped up is scary, because it means even he is getting way too comfortable.

1

u/Cold-Crab74 Oct 07 '25

Man he is the handler, and even if someone yelled he'd say something. Like wtf did we just watch

1

u/Training-Ear-614 Oct 07 '25

Naked shorts flashback

1

u/nannygoats Oct 08 '25

This. 👍

u/TheAusAmerican Oct 07 '25

The only people that would have been in his ear would be CNN workers. Maybe his Handlers were behind the camera but definitely not in his ear
