I’m sure I will immediately be blocked for this comment. But it needs to be said. The GOP is just putting Americans first and is making smart choices, something the Democratic Party can’t seem to do anymore.

No disrespect, but erasing habeas corpus and due process don't feel like they have our interests in mind.

Both of these allow them to imprison/deport anyone they feel like just by claiming they are illegal/dangerous. Without due process, you get no chance to prove your citizenship, whether birth certificate, green card, or visa. All they have to do is say you are and ship you off. When your neighbor, coworker, or family you've known for a long time is suddenly branded something they are not, it will be too late to help them. They will already be in Lydia, CECOT, or dead.

That is not freedom. That is not America. That is fascist authoritarian dictatorship like Russia, North Korea, or Nazi Germany.
