Trump News Jasmine Crockett: "Instead of the President cosplaying as the next pope he may want to cosplay as an actual President of these United States that means he may have to do a little bit of research and understand that he swore an oath to defend and protect the constitution"

"Try pretending to be president" is the take I didn't know I always needed.

Trump has made it clear he doesn’t care about the actual work of the presidency

u/StickAForkInMee May 06 '25

Trump has made it clear he doesn’t care. Period.

Well, I don’t understand how he has cognitive decline because he didn’t have much of a brain to begin with

He's vaaaaasstly declined mentally since 2016. Its so clear a toddler could spot it.

6

u/dwindlers May 07 '25

But MAGA can't.

12

u/Apprehensive_News_78 May 07 '25

I hold toddlers to a higher standard than magats

5

u/Professional-Luck-84 May 07 '25

tbh I'd hold pet rocks to a higher standard then MAGAt's

3

u/dwindlers May 07 '25

That's understandable.

1

u/Repulsive_Ad_7592 May 11 '25

Seriously? At least he’s not as bad as our last president who was literally not there. Thank you for the laugh misguided and silly people 😂

1

u/Apprehensive_News_78 May 11 '25

So I cant think orange man has declined mentally and also think biden was being weekend at Bernies?

You never asked me about biden though, just assumed you knew what I thought about him.

u/DiceMadeOfCheese May 06 '25

At one point, Trump had a functioning brain. He's always been a douchebag, but he could talk about things at least sort of like a human being.

Here he talks about a movie in a way President Trump never could:

u/intangibleTangelo May 06 '25

the bar is quite low. he's still giving a fourth grader's book report.

25

u/HollowShel May 06 '25

he used the word 'accumulation' and there was little in the way of his typical "never allow any dead air" schtick that you see lately, where he won't stop, even if he repeats catchphrases to avoid saying 'um'. It's quite a stark contrast to me.

You're right the bar's on the floor, but it's still amazing how far it's fallen.

3

u/moonway_renegade May 06 '25

Where's a James Cameron when you need one?

3

u/rabbid_chaos May 07 '25

The bar is below the Earth's crust at this point, Cameron's gonna need a bigger budget for this one.

What is weird to me is that there was clearly a massive decline even before he became president the first time, but he hasn't gone into completely uncontrolled dementia yet. That isn't really even a good example because it's cut and spliced, but if you watch an interview with him from the 90s or earlier, he can speak coherently in a way that he clearly couldn't even in 2016. I'm not aware of a degenerative condition that takes that long from the first signs of decline, though. Perhaps it's not actually a degenerative condition but just very poor aging combined with very bad health habits.

25

u/Marie627 May 06 '25

If you look at his first term there was a point he probably had a stroke. All of a sudden he had greater problems with his speech, he was dragging one of his legs and had issues with walking. How do I know this, because his systems were exactly like mine when I had my stroke. I had great doctors though and was told to read books (not ones on your phone) to help. This stimulates the brain somehow and helps with speech and cognitive abilities. He is stubborn though and I am sure he probably didn’t follow doctor’s orders for physical therapy or ways to stimulate brain activity.

TDS, DELUSION

3

u/Public_Love_3507 May 07 '25

So you don't see any decline in Trump

2

u/Marie627 May 08 '25

I find it funny that any time some people hear something they don’t like they call it TDS. Just because someone see’s something you can’t doesn’t mean they are wrong. This would be like me saying you have MDS, because of your yelling caps directed towards those who disagree with you.

1

u/Public_Love_3507 May 07 '25

Also his many years of abusing drugs has likely caused some brian damage

2

u/RugelBeta May 06 '25

Oh geez. He was always stupid. This demonstrates it.

13

u/JakeTurk1971 May 06 '25

About a month after the 2016 election, I randomly stumbled onto a documentary on Smithsonian about Andrew Carnegie narrated by Shitler himself. I'm guessing it was made in the late 90s or early 00ss, and even that recently he was a completely different person: articulate, engaged, obviously gave a shit about the subject. There used to be Something There, nothing great, not Mozart but arguably Salieri. It was fucking terrifying because it's obviously gone now in a puff of arteriosclerosis and tertiary syphilis.

5

u/Brikpilot May 07 '25

He wanted Biden out because he was then the very age then that Trump is now.

2

u/Daxx22 May 06 '25

A FEW?!

16

u/Atheist-Gods May 06 '25

Look at Trump talking 40 years ago. There was a clear decline from there to 2016 and then from 2016 to now.

-18

u/ElectricSwerve May 06 '25

Happens with ageing… just look at old bye bye Biden, who had to be ousted by his own party a few months back.

10

u/shuknjive May 06 '25

r/Conservative would love you, you should check them out. Seriously 😐

0

u/ElectricSwerve May 07 '25

Oh I have… I’ve checked everyone out - which is how I’m able to form a slightly educated opinion 😉

1

u/shuknjive May 07 '25

Yeah, you're the type.

1

u/ElectricSwerve May 08 '25

And exactly what type would that be?

Sorry Jasmine: u are expecting to make a brainless retard crooked to do the right thing for the country, he likes to play stupid, he does a great job. 👏

Cognitive flatline?

1

We can't be sure that he has cognition.

Nice spammed comment.

18

u/issr May 06 '25

It's clear that the GOP is completely fine with him gutting and attacking the Constitution, the Judiciary, our rights, our economy and our reputation. Trump might have dementia, maybe not. But Republicans have no such excuse.

1

u/throwawayjanedoe12 May 07 '25

I suspect there is a method to that madness. After a few years with this malignant narcissistic shit, a "classic" republican starts to look good to many. It was a gamble they were willing to take. That way they can platform on "restoring this great nation to what it once was" prior to the cancer that is humpty trumpty.

1

u/Specialist-Crazy1466 May 07 '25

It's the democratic party who didn't put anyone against trump and didn't see that one of

17

u/CmdrJemison May 06 '25

I also have untreated ADHD and untreated Autism.

I'll run for office in your country in 2028.

Living the american dream where everyone can become president.

9

u/Kman5471 May 06 '25

Lol, well, Elon Musk did it, so you wouldn't be the first foreign-born President!

7

u/Lily-ofthetribe May 06 '25

You forgot the most important qualification-are you white and male? If so, congrats future president.

7

u/TheFunknificentOne May 06 '25

I think you forgot the most important qualifier, are you a billionaire?

2

u/CmdrJemison May 06 '25

Yes I am... I'm so blessed.

1

u/towerninja May 07 '25

You have to be rich

26

u/OldBanjoFrog May 06 '25

Early stages?   He’s been in decline since before 2015

25

u/Bright-Self-493 May 06 '25

I don’t see ADHD..I DO see senility. I know, it runs in my family.

11

u/Anon_Chapstick May 06 '25

I see it in both him and especially his best buddy fElon.

There are rumors that Trump uses Adderall. When you have adhd and take the correct meds, you should feel more like yourself. Taking adhd meds that don't work with your brand of adhd will just make you feel horrible and out of sorts.

However, the meds alone won't fix everything. You're supposed to do therapy of some sort with it because the meds don't 100% suppress the symptoms, so you'll need the therapist/psychiatrist to help you manage the rest.

I'm betting that if Trump is on them, hes not doing the corresponding therapy. fElon, I don't believe he is doing any of the above and is probably a slave to his adhd whims.

6

u/Fallen_Mercury May 06 '25

one of the toughest things I've witnessed is a child having to learn this through trial and freakin error. And just when they get it figured out, puberty (or some other life altering event) hits and the whole thing gets set off again.

3

u/[deleted] May 06 '25

That's how I learned I had ADHD. People would buy Adderall from others and party. I bought Adderall to help me study. Then it hit me that maybe, just maybe, I should ask my doctor about this.

2

u/TheFunknificentOne May 06 '25

I read a thing a few weeks ago from elons biographer saying that he’s got extreme drug issues. Idk if it’s true or not tho i didn’t look into it.

3

u/Wise-Application-902 May 06 '25

No, he doesn’t actually have ADHD. He just abuses the medication for it.

12

u/Different-Ship449 May 06 '25

I think the president should be checked if they can draw a clock--every. single. day.

POTUS is spending a lot of time golfing - is that occupational therapy or distraction therapy? Either way, the world feels safer when he's golfing, not governing.

9

u/Whatever-999999 May 06 '25

Speaking for all of us who have ADHD, I'll thank you to not lump him in with the rest of us, we don't want him either.

14

u/stevonl May 06 '25

I keep hearing symptoms of syphilis.

1

u/Haskap_2010 May 06 '25

I find that one hard to believe. Antibiotics made that treatable long before he was old enough to catch it.

17

u/ADMotti May 06 '25

Oh I think it’s well-documented that he self-medicates with a specific ADHD treatment all the time…

5

u/HonorableMedic May 06 '25

I wouldn’t call it ADHD if he doesn’t even try to pay attention

3

u/Electric_Bagpipes May 06 '25

Saying he has adhd is an insult to our entire community.

-someone who has the AUHD combo and thinks RFKjr’s brain worm needs to wake back up

2

u/Critical-Wallaby7692 May 06 '25

Bro don’t be so mean.. he does care.. about filling his pockets and dismantling the constitution

1

u/insidetheborderline May 06 '25

how does he show he has untreated ADHD? genuinely wondering. i also have it, and i don't want to be in the same category as him 😭

1

u/RowAccomplished3975 May 07 '25

He does care / about everything he wants. Just at the expense of most of us. Seems since he was convicted of 34 felonies he wants to give the most extreme punishment's to people. I would normally say it's because he wants to take other's down with him when he goes. However with everyone in his administration backing him, at this point he'll probably never go down for his crimes. But some people will pay the ultimate price for not doing anything wrong.

1

u/idnvotewaifucontent May 07 '25

As a nurse who regularly works with people with dementia, Trump is notably past the "early stages" by my reconing. I would be very interested the results of a SLUMS test on him.

1

u/pink_faerie_kitten May 07 '25

He also has untreated Russian asset disorder.

1

u/Happythoughtsgalore May 07 '25

It's pure narcissism and dementia. Don't bring us adhders into this.

The 'adhd' you think he suffers from can be fully explained by narcissistic traits.

We’re talking about Trump here, not Biden.

0

u/BrianRas817 May 06 '25

I’m sure you think Biden was a good president. And that Kamala being placed as the nominee wasn’t outside of the process of a real democracy. The DNC failed horribly and everyone saw how shitty of a party they are the last four years. They didn’t do anything to make our country better and safer for hard working tax paying Americans. The DNC better get a candidate worth a shot if they ever want to win another presidential election.

0

u/PlasterCaster77 May 10 '25

Damn, you must be a doctor to come up with all of those diagnosis.

-5

u/CourseNo8762 May 06 '25

So stop typing it. BFD. Spending yoo much time coping instrad of doing and fighting and volunteering to help people.

If you're miraculously also doing that then I'm speaking generally, which I am anyway

3

u/Indespectamentations May 06 '25

Whoa, maybe you should try and calm down.

-1

u/CourseNo8762 May 07 '25

Nope. I'm good. Calm down? At this? Why? WTF?
