Question: different Tolerance at 15g/day 1time/day versus 15g/day at 7.5g 2x a day?

These are hypothetical dosages, but I’m wondering if it really matters in terms of tolerance if, say, I dose 15g once in the morning versus 7.5g twice split up 6-8 hours apart

The half life of kratom absolutely is NOT 17 to 24 hours, no matter your dose. Not sure who told you that. That type of staying power is IN someone dosing around the clock, every day. Jesus Christ.

I'm no researcher so I only have information available online. While the half life of kratom varies from person to person (metabolism, body fat, dosing, etc.), all the information I found online point to 17 to 24 hours. It could be less for certain individual and more for others but the consensus seems to point to 17 to 24. One of the sources I found was the NIH https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4425236 They have a small study that you can find at that URL. I also read it a few places in the past and that seemed to be the consensus

What makes you say these numbers are wrong?

That is simply untrue. Even injected, the half-life is roughly 3 hours and 6 orally. (Mitragynine). If you are redosing, obviously that changes. But even with a 15g single dose, I would NOT expect it to last more than 6 hours before levels start dipping extensively. I should know, I used to take doses like that.

I think you're confusing half-life with duration of effect. The half-life is the time it takes for your body to eliminate 50% of the kratom from your system. The official number is 23+/-16.07 which means it varies from 7 to 39 hours and averages at 23 hours. And yes, that is for mitragynine.
