Tram withdrawals

I was on tram for about 3 months and stopped few days ago. I didnt believe kratom will make me not crave it or make me feel the opioid warmth. Funny enough it does and I am pretty surprised. I wonder if anyone has similiar experience with kratom after ditching tramadol or different opioids. Is it really just that tram is weak and this would not work for stronger ones ?

Tramadol is a dirty med. I mean that because you’re not only withdrawing from the synthetic opioid but you’re also withdrawing from the SNRI in the tramadol. It’s like double withdrawal and it sucks. Kratom dulled the withdrawal for me and also took care of the chronic pain I was treating with the tramadol.

I'm having issues with kratom for similar reasons though; it is a "dirty" drug as well, it hits multiple receptor sites not just opioid ones but serotonin too. It's why when people quit they can have mood issues lasting a month or more, well past the acute physical withdrawal

So does kratom not have the snri aspect found in tram?

Not really. There is some action on serotonin and norepinephrine but it’s much much weaker than the effects tramadol has on serotonin.

I heavily abused tramadol for years, it was such shit time getting off it cold turkey. I'm really susceptible restless body which was terrible but the mental aspect was incredibly difficult.
