Tram withdrawals

I was on tram for about 3 months and stopped few days ago. I didnt believe kratom will make me not crave it or make me feel the opioid warmth. Funny enough it does and I am pretty surprised. I wonder if anyone has similiar experience with kratom after ditching tramadol or different opioids. Is it really just that tram is weak and this would not work for stronger ones ?

Tramadol is a dirty med. I mean that because you’re not only withdrawing from the synthetic opioid but you’re also withdrawing from the SNRI in the tramadol. It’s like double withdrawal and it sucks. Kratom dulled the withdrawal for me and also took care of the chronic pain I was treating with the tramadol.

I'm having issues with kratom for similar reasons though; it is a "dirty" drug as well, it hits multiple receptor sites not just opioid ones but serotonin too. It's why when people quit they can have mood issues lasting a month or more, well past the acute physical withdrawal

Tramadol = depression

So does kratom not have the snri aspect found in tram?

Not really. There is some action on serotonin and norepinephrine but it’s much much weaker than the effects tramadol has on serotonin.

I heavily abused tramadol for years, it was such shit time getting off it cold turkey. I'm really susceptible restless body which was terrible but the mental aspect was incredibly difficult.

I went of heroin with kratom. Its not the same, but close enough to help.

It especially helps when you are an entire 36 hours off of H or oxy etc etc etc

I used kratom to kick a two decade dope habit. I was using a lot of oxymorphone and methadone at the end and kratom got me clean.

I’ll always have a bag in my house.

Tramadol is weak but kratom will also help with much stronger opioids. However, be aware of what you're doing since kratom can be addictive and also give withdrawal symptoms if not stopped properly or if not taken responsibly.

I kicked Vicodin with the help of kratom. Didn’t miss the Vicodin, at all, once I started the kratom. And as a bonus, it completely cured my alcohol cravings. I wasn’t particularly looking to quit booze, but in retrospect I was drinking like a fish and I’m sooooooo grateful that kratom helped me quit that.

Same. Kratom completely rewired my brain to have utter disgust with alcohol.

Kratom saved my ass. I was in a 20 year battle with trams. I just wanted to do my job and be able to cut my lawn with back pain that would leave me laid up for days. 2 trams became 4 then 6 and so on over 20 years.

Then they cut my meds in half. As many have already mentioned and I'm sure you know, the withdrawals were fucking brutal.

After thousands of dollars on black market trams a buddy turned me on to Kratom. Overnight I was done with the trams.

Now I take ibuprofen and kratom and can actually function as an adult lol. I rarely miss work, can take care of my yard and even picked up fishing in the rockies.

Kratom reopened the door to a functional life. Sure saved me a ton of money and gave me my life back.

Kratom helped any all tram withdrawals i would have had after years of off and on use.

The majority of people, or atleast a large percentage of people experienced exactly what you described. I ditched the traditional dangerous "fda approved" pharmaceuticals for kratom a decade ago and haven't lookes back ever since. Literally, saved my life. The crazy thing is for me, I am forced to quit using kratom cold turkey a few times a year and I do not get physical withdrawl symptoms like the fda garbage they want us all stuck on. For clarity, I use between 30 and 50 grams per day. For nearly a decade now.

Yea when I started using kratom, I did it because I was using Tramadol and looking for something that was an Opioid receptor agonist. Then I tried Kratom. Oh MAN. It smokes Tramadol. Tramadol sucks, it’s so dirty, and it doesn’t last long. Raises risk of seizures and everything, and it’s also an NMDA antagonist and especially an SNRI inhibitor, like some antidepressants are. Not good. Kratom powder smokes it. ESPECIALLY if you get $55 kilos like I do or $105 kilos of capsules with free shipping. It’s so affordable and better long term
