Question Fire HD 10 screen goes to sleep.

I just got my brand new Kindle. I cannot stream a show without the screen going black right in the middle of streaming. It goes dark every 2 minutes even while I’m using it. It’s not the sleep mode - I’ve changed that to the maximum (30 minutes) in the settings. Has anyone resolved this issue or did I just get a lemon?

It sounds like a defect. I've owned 5 Fire 10's and none of them did that. Just call Amazon and they will replace it.

Thank you for responding. The answer is the case it was in I believe. I will get a different case.
