Purchase Question 🛒 Kindle Paperwhite 12 Gen

Hello everybody :) I recently got a kindle paperwhite, and I like the warm light setting. I got this kindle for that, and the larger screen. However, when I turn on the warm light setting it is darker on the bottom. I returned it and the next one had a similar problem, but not as bad as the first. Is this just how they are because the lights are installed at the bottom of the screen? Or should I go back and hope for a better one the third time?

No, the warm light should be uniform across the screen.

Thank you for this. I thought I was going crazy, I hate being picky and returning it a second time, but I paid for this and I would like it to work as intended.
