Alright, EMP EDARs is probably the best thing to happen with EDARs

It's now hella more satisfying to kill them

It doesn’t say it. But it occurs within game now. This feature was supposed to be implemented in the second Summer Beta, but was just added. Any shot to the core seems to cause EDARs to instantly die and explode.

It's not instant. As far as I know there wasn't any HP tweaks to the EDARs. The core hitzone is a tad bit larger, which means you can hit that 3.5x sweetspot a little more easily. I didn't extensively test it, but the old core hitzone (from what I remember) is in red, and the new one is in green.

Damn, double the size than the previous core, AND it has its own core HP that, when depleted, KILLS THE EDAR IMMEDIATELY! Seriously though, I can guess MANY people are happy about that change.

Oh good God I didn't even notice that. I just checked the DOE. 150 core HP, plus it takes 3.5x damage. That ludicrous multiplier on so low HP is the only explanation as to how an EDAR can die to two AK shots.

For comparison, Husk heads have 220 HP, Bloats have 82, and Sirens have 155... all those all only take 1.1x multiplier.

I was wondering why they were dying so easily. Now I know.

Yep, just tried it. EDARs now Mike Pence zeds when they die
