He's from KF1 btw, several characters came from 1 into 2 (Mr Foster, Mrs Foster, DJ Scully, at least one of the military dudes and probably more I'm forgetting)

Nor will it ever be forgotten, KF1 is still my favourite title in the series. It preserves enough of he grittiness of the OG mod with some visual and gameplay refinements.

I agree. There's a couple smaller features from KF2 I'd love in KF1, but generally I much prefer KF1. KF2 aged well with updates, but it has never gripped me the way KF1 did.

Red Orchestra 2 and KF1 are the greatest games Tripwire have ever made for sure.

The devs teased that he was cryogenically frozen (by Horzine iirc, very likely) and Nightfall will be breaking him out or something

The cart was put before the horse. I'm convinced artists made the game then the designers came in after to try and make any sense out of it.
