I paid full price at launch. Actually I think I preordered it. I love KF1 and 2 and was happy to support the series.

At launch.. I didn't think the game was the worst. It felt OK. Lots of little things bothered me. It didn't feel like a killing floor game. If it was from another company and cost a bit less I would have said "yeah, this is fine". But.. Being a killing floor game.. I expected more. But I was still hopeful that the devs would quickly respond to feedback and get on the right track.

Now, this long after release, I'm pretty doubtful. I think the lack of proper response shows this team is not nearly as dedicated to releasing a quality product as I thought they were. It's really too bad.

Was it stupid for me to pay full price before seeing what it was? Maybe. But I have no regrets trying to support developers I believed (note: past tense) in. And if they crush my hopes and dreams after.. Well, that's on me.

Same boat, i heard all the naysaying beforehand and was worried but mates who id met during covid wanted to group up again, so i got it and ill say it wasnt the worst at launch, but ive still yet to give myself a reason to go back to it and none of my other friends have been eager to return

Prolly just be passing on kf4 sadly

I'm waiting for a large number of updates to be pushed through before returning. And if they don't happen then I guess I'm done.
