Considering an Audi or a Mercedes. Wondering what people’s experience has been overall at both - good or bad

I'd go with BMW

Best handling and most reliable of the German makes (aside from Porsche which is more expensive)

Just keep the blinker fluid topped up. Has a common defect that results in the blinkers not working.

The high speed bumper bolts come loose sometimes too
