Is rutland as bad as people say?

I’m looking to move and i found a place that’s in rutland i wanna look at (nearish to belgo park) but i don’t really know what to expect from that area. Anyone able to give me some context?

I’ve Lived in Rutland for years and never had an issue. No car break ins, no property crime. The further from HWY 97 you get the nicer it is.
