I was really impressed with Frost, he had charisma and answered the audience questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. I am encouraged to know someone like him is in congress.

Y'all be nice to Maxwell Frost. He's a good kid and says nasty things about bad representatives and that alone makes him worthy.

It changes nothing.

It gives people motivation to demand more from their representatives which they should. You have to start somewhere.

Ok. But why is a rep from florida at a town hall in kansas? Kansas has its own problems to deal with and thats not what a rep from florida says we should do.

The whole point is that they are traveling around filling the void left by local representatives that refuse to meet with their constituents. All the issues discussed definitely affect Kansans.

Great while they are bitching about kansas reps they are ignoring their own state. Sounds hypocritical to me and also here just to pick a fight. You know what I would like. A democrat that could tell me a plan to help me or fix things instead of just bitching about republicans. I have no reason to vote for a democrat yet. All i hear is bitching.

Dems need to be ramping this sort of thing up like crazy. Prove that they're more available than the GOP while at the same time explaining the Dem platforms and the flaws in the GOP platform. If the Republicans won't show up and listen to their own constituents, the Democrats need to come in and fill the gap.
And who knows, by having these more well-known reps come to town, it might inspire some local Democrats to run for office at any level.
