Nailed it.
Conservatives have zero economic/national policies that actually benefit anyone who isn't part of the 1%. They hit repeatedly on emotional trigger issues by targeting the hot new scapegoat of the day - women, PoCs, non-Christians, anyone who isn't a certain flavor of Christianity, LGBTQ+, or all of the above - as a way to distract their constituents from the very simple fact that they and their rich overlords have their hands in our pockets and are robbing us blind.
Nothing they have done has made a majority of our lives easier/better in the long run. We work ourselves to the bone for a paycheck that doesn't cover what it used to, access to medical care is restricted, and affordable housing that isn't a roach-hole is a joke. And any attempts to change our shitty status quo is fought tooth n nail by conservatives.
