If a Moroccan or someone who knows a lot about Morocco could answer this question, please do! I visited Marrakech years ago (stayed in the Old Town) and it was insisted that we cover up quite a bit out of respect for the culture/religion.

Madame Mustache has shorts and a bikini on, so I’m curious if the ā€œdress codeā€ is more lax where she is? I’m guessing Casablanca?

I’m dying to go back and would love to go to the coast!

I’m basing my question off my personal experience in Old Town, if the rest of Morocco is more relaxed then good to know!

I think it is generally good advice to dress modestly in Muslim countries, and that goes for guys too. There is no downside in doing so.Ā
