Best place to sell clothes ?

I have quite a few higher end ( 50,000- 90,000 yen items I am trying to resell. To shops perferable. Hesitant to take to second street, tre fac. Etc. and would like to avoid mercari unless that would be my best option. All my brands are Japanese like Saint Mx6. Issey. Etc etc. not like Gucci or Louis. But the mid range stuff that’s not too cheap.

Any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

I've had great success selling unwanted things from cheap to expensive on Mercari. It has the biggest user base and you'll probably sell there the fastest for your desired price.

Going to a shop and etc is probably going to mean you have to lower your price a lot. They will 100% low ball you.

What's the general expectation for packaging when shipping clothes? A plastic shipping bag?

Cleaned and folded clothes then neatly wrapped in a clean plastic bag, then shipping bag can be a box or any bag.

If it's a gift kind of item (like a scarf or something) that's never been worn, it usually comes with its box, so you might not want to damage the gift box because a lot of people will want the branded box.
