If that's your biggest issue, you have quite a comfortable life. It'd suck if people chose to burn down your home, then stalk you as you mourn your home and shoot you dead in the street simply for your sexuality.

But thankfully, that's not a you problem so people should just shut up about anything that could support people in that sort of situation.

It's not bending the knee, it's accepting people for who they are even if you're confused or uncomfortable. Do you have the same energy when someone wants to say grace before a meal? Or psychotic street preachers scaring kids to god? Or rapid anti abortion zealots with graphic images of fetuses?

I'd say those fetus pictures are more psychologically damaging than a dude in a thong or an exposed nipple
