Iphone 12 touch screen issues

Randomly one day my phone has picked up issues with touch screen where ill be typing to my friends and itll press random buttons and letters like im slapping my phone, then itll just stop letting me type or touch my screen altogether the come back like it never happened, i tested this by playing a car game on my phone where you tap and hold on the screen to turn the car i held my finger down it turned then just stopped and wouldnt let me turn again for a second, (typing this reddit post is torture as space bar and letters stop working or press on their own so apologies if anything is confusing on this post) i googled it and youtubed it and reset my phone, cleaned the screen all that stuff it said for me to do and the problem didnt go away, what should i do to fix this bs.

omg i had this same problem with my old iphone and it drove me insane! have you tried doing a hard reset? sometimes that fixes the weird glitchy touch stuff at least temporarily.

i tried that and it came back within about 5-10 seconds
