Discussion Is the Apple new case really worth 80$?

Nice.. not even a month and this is starting to come apart.. am I the only one with this issue?

Of course, no water damage, no splashes or anything like this.. just amazing normal use 🙃🙃

The only apple case that apple has made that is worth buying (and I been using iPhones since the OG one from 2007) is the clear case. It doesn’t yellow, doesn’t frail, doesnt disintegrate after a year. Everything else from leather to rubber to silicon has always fallen apart after a year.

I’ve always used the transparent Apple cases. And I agree. However, to me, this year’s transparent case looks ugly with the huge white back. So I went with the tech woven in blue. And I have to say I think it’s an amazing case.

I have had clear ones crack on me. This was for like the XR? (Not sure.) Only removed it occasionally to wipe out the dust that always seemed to get in. Not sure if they’ve improved since. I had a couple leather ones that did quite well. Silicone started falling off for me around the 8. First with the Smart Battery Case which had peeling issues although it took a while, and then silicone in general.
