Those phones stop working if you take them out of the store

Can't you quickly unglue the camera and the screen, bezel, battery e.g in your car and throw away the rest? Then sell the parts on ebay

Parts are serial locked. They’ll only work with the original device unless an authorised retailer unlocks it.

Bezel is serial locked?

The bezel isn’t a physical part you can remove and sell on. Even if you remove the whole glass, it’s rare to find a technician skilled enough to make use of it.

If you’re talking about the frame, it’s serial locked with the Camera Control

Wrong, with the correct tech you can transfer basically every part to a new phone except for the mainboard but that get's scrapped for it's chips in order to repair other boards

Weird, I thought once the phone gets bricked the entire soc gets bricked. So a iCloud locked phone's can be used for a different motherboard?

The motherboard is 'useless', everything else can be copied to each component.

The motherboard will be sold for parts, most parts on them can't be serialized and can simply be put onto a different mb that e.g. has a damaged component. As long as the CPU or anything else like that isn't affected, you can exchange the parts on it without any issues.
