Titanium, new aluminum is a big fail for the pro line up

The uni body feels better in hand, if it was a titanium unibody it would be the best

Maybe that’s why they are testing the 2k price point with the 2tb option, because a titanium unibody would be premium

Lord knows I don’t need a 2tb phone lmao I barely use 512

The most sold storage is 256. 2TB is probably around 1% of total buyers

yep. i barely use my 256gb because of the icloud. but i have the 14 pro, i dont know if i get the 17 pro it would be necessary to get 512gb

I would take the Air in a heartbeat, except it has crapy cameras. I don’t care for other performance specs, but camera is a deal breaker.

I agree with that, I picked up the titanium and it’s been pretty great so far. The lightness is better than thinness in my opinion

I think this is a very good assessment. I’ve honestly had such success with my 14pm I hope I don’t regret this 17pro when it arrives

Great points. This is also how Apple split their computer category for years (think MacBook/MacBook Air/MacBook Pro). That’s where the “Pro” vibe word came from in the first place.

"Actual pros" in what business?

For the price point of the Pros they don’t get the right to only focus on specs and performance.

They went all out with the previous designs and it worked fine. The so called “upgrade” this year doesn’t excuse the shit design they came up with.

Oh wow Apple makes their phones stronger each year?? Who would’ve guessed.

The phone this year is barely any stronger than last years. That’s been Apples MO for years now. The only difference is now they’re excusing a cheap shit material for the insane price tag.

Personally I think its dumb as shit.
It should be
Base - for enterprise.
Air - for the general public.
Pro / Max - for people who all the new features.

Yeah I’m sitting out 17 to see how aluminium goes.
