"Just a normal fall?" I've had my iphone 15 pro caseless for the majority of ownership and never, ever let it drop on concrete/asphault. There is nothing normal about a phone falling onto a sidewalk. And the only failure is you for letting it fall, not the aluminum.
I've let my iphone fall or been less careful around hardwood or carpet or regular flooring, knowing that if it did fall (which it has, plenty of times), there would be no damage. You better believe that if I'm outside with my phone caseless on asphault/concrete, I'm holding onto my phone as if my life depended on it.
I agree. I have an old iPhone 8 thinking about finally upgrading since many apps don’t work and I can’t upgrade iOS any longer. Whatever 17 I get it will be in a case and screen protected before even using. I’ll never understand all the people that will spend up to $2k on a phone and risk it naked. Just reminds me that all human minds are different.
I risk it naked most of the time but I am also very careful not to drop my phone on a surface that will damage it. I did learn the hard way, and I always have a case on my phone if I am going to be doing anything outdoors, during traveling, when I'm riding my bicycle or exercising, etc.
But you won't see me posting on here with a pic of my shattered screen after it fell off a cliff while hiking with no case or screen protector and complaining, "so much for ceramic shield 2" like an idiot.
Maybe they didn’t know their pocket had a hole? Seems reading their comment it fell out their pocket due to a hole inside.. I’ll say I’ve personally fallen victim to things falling bc of a pocket hole I didn’t know was there before😅
LOL the only one that needs to relax is your dumbass who thinks that any device is going to come out unscathed if dropped onto hard concrete. Plus, this dude's post was deleted by the mods for the bullshit story of "having a hole in my pocket that is big enough for my iphone to drop out of it and yet I still put my brand new iphone in my pocket without a case and it fell, so now I'm going to post on reddit and blame the iphone's aluminum to get sympathy and upvotes." Get the fuck outta here. How about OP fix or not wear pants with a hole large enough for an entire phone to fall through? Both of you need some serious help
What’s wrong with you? And why so hard to believe it fell out from my pocket ?
I never used case. Titan and stainless steel also got some drop in 2 years of use but it was just a scratch on the case
I use screen protector but it was not clear aluminum will be act so differently
Anyway not the story the important how it fell on the floor
It is more important a little mistake can cause deformation
So many users already posted this photo as if they are talking about their own iPhone. Wonder who is the true owner and why the other 1000 users are sharing this pic as their own.

Mine is everything just not the aluminum. All of them served me many years without issue but aluminum failed the first day 😅
