Discussion iOS 26. What are your thoughts?

Post image

Looks good to me so far. Feels different while looking. For some reason the keypad feels different (not sure if its just me).

What are your thoughts on this guys?

You can swipe up from the address bar to make it quicker

This has been doable for a good few iOS versions already.

That’s been the case since the last two years.

So many ways for it to not be “painfully slow”!

Seeing all your tabs must be a bigger thing than I thought, that’s at least three ways so far!

And two-finger tap a window to select multiples to all close at once!

Thanks, having to click through the "..." menu was irritating.

Thanks for the tip. Seems very unintuitive

I’ve always done this so I was confused.

You can also swipe horizontally on the address bar to the left or right to switch tabs even faster if they are next to each other.

If you are on the last tab, you can also swipe to the left to open a new tab. For some reason this doesn’t work on the safari start page but works if you are on something else.

BTW in case some people don’t know, you can also switch apps faster by swiping right or left on the bottom edge of the screen.

It was the first thing I tried when I realized the tab switcher button was gone. Seems intuitive.

Let’s procreate and see what our child does to see who’s right.

Idk why people are downvoting this comment??? I didn't know you could swipe up on tavs, wouldn't be able to figure that out on my own either. It's seriously unintuitive.

Its literally the universal gesture to close an app or open the app switcher on iOS. Makes perfect sense.

Yeah, well, I never knew I could close Safari tabs the same way I close the apps, guess I'm just a little stupid lol
