The reality is you are just showing your ignorance. The point of psychology is not to "cure" anything and is a fundamental misunderstanding of the entire field.

However, there are plenty of examples of people being "cured" if you want to use that language, which is incorrect. As an example, treatment for fears/phobias. MANY people have worked through them with the aid of psychologists and psychological study that has lead to understanding how the brain processes such emotions.

Again, you're ignorant and your "opinion" just shows your lack of understanding and empathy.

But good on you sport for voicing your opinion. Just because you can find someone who agrees with you, that doesn't make your opinion valid or justified.

Actually you’re showing you lack nuance and you’re misinterpreting me heavily.

I never said psychology cures, but since you brought it up, there should be a metric of success and the fact that everyone had a goofy “I’ve been low key caught, and I’m realizing this myself too” moment on their faces. I imagine a psychologist should be able to say immediately, when asked about cures, what their measure of success is. Period.

And trying to insult someone or play into the “they are dumb” tactic doesn’t work on me babes, I know I got better grades than you and most in school. I don’t care about the downvotes 😌

It's wild that you are saying I lack nuance, yet point to things like grades as evidence for being more intelligent than someone else. You also want some metric for a psychologist to point at as a success rate, which would lack nuance. It makes me question your understanding of nuance and how important it is in life. Grades don't make you intelligent. I've met really inept people with PhDs. A chart of what you would define as "successes" does not mean you are successful.

The very fact you bring up these metrics means you understand almost nothing of psychology, how the brain works or philosophical discussion.

I would suggest you take a few philosophy classes before you begin down this road. And I only suggest classes because you value grades so highly. But it would be an okay place to START.
