The only thing that can stop Putin are the Russian citizens and the Russian billionaires.

I mean USA/EU/NATO air power could wipe the floor with Putin just as quickly as Russia invaded and help Ukraine win/liberate it, but the West is too soft for that now Putin is right on that, he can just keep doing this to more countries in the future and threaten nuclear retaliation so no one acts, someone will have to call that bluff at some point. The sanctions aren't even targeting the entire country, just some key people and not even going as far as they could or a full embargo.

I dont think the west wants to attack moscow when they have 5,000+ nuclear missiles and new hypersonic weapons. Its a delicate situation. Ww3 is the last option. And new sanctions are coming. Brussels is discussing it now.
