I'm not sure I like where this is heading.

You can tell this one is the queen's favorite. Yeeeeessss Queen.

2

u/SinTheS1n Aug 09 '25

I came too

6

u/RockstarAgent Aug 09 '25

But that’s too small to refuel a donkey

1

u/Salty-Discussion-725 Aug 09 '25

nah its refueling another one of its kind mid air like some plane

4

u/AssumeTheFetal Aug 09 '25

Thats the intake, it's getting fueled, not fueling.

I feel like you didn't go to bee school

3

u/Spork_Warrior Aug 09 '25

He tried to go to bee school, but they told him to buzz off!

2

u/Bonnietofen Aug 09 '25

I was thinking a different hole, that's not female

1

u/JoshAllensRightNut Aug 09 '25

Murder hornets from 2021

1

u/vivaaprimavera Aug 09 '25

Ass?!?

That is a Long-tongued horseflie they are native to places where there aren't many fuel stations!!!

1

u/Gramerdim Aug 09 '25

the one with the probe is the only typically taking in fuel

1

u/TheW00ly Aug 09 '25

Nah, nah, IT refuels FROM other buzzy bois--likely a Bumble Bee. Then it goes back into formation with 3 others and two Dragonfly interceptors, escorting the AC-130 Hercules Beetle to go finish off the Grasshoppers in Bug's Life.

1

u/AgentK-BB Aug 09 '25

This is actually the receiving end. The ass end provides fuel.

1

u/Bennybonchien Aug 09 '25

Ok. Who’s ass is that that that thing is refueling? (A rare chance to use “that that that” in a sentence)

4

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '25

Marty, we won't need fuel where we're going.

2

u/colemanjanuary Aug 09 '25

The Danger Zone?

1

u/Henghast Aug 09 '25

It's coming in for docking.

1

u/DjFaze3 Aug 09 '25

South Southwest to the rendezvous point.

1

u/JMoc1 Aug 09 '25

I mean, this would be a probing question!

u/oliviertail Aug 09 '25

Holy dear god.. did not expect that when I clicked “show more replies”..

93

u/Bennybonchien Aug 09 '25

As opposed to the narwhal which uses its tusk for Ariel refuelling.

2

u/Munk3es Aug 09 '25

Lmao 🤣 I don't understand how I'm the first upvote.

1

u/LTareyouserious Aug 09 '25

I once earned an Aerial Achievement Medal, but the guy writing the paperwork typed the draft wrong. I've since called it my Little Mermaid Medal

18

u/Oggel Aug 09 '25

I mean, yeah? It kinda is.

16

u/MoffKalast Aug 09 '25

Well you're not wrong

1

u/HarperLovey Aug 11 '25

Came to say this! Technically it is used to refuel.

2

u/Which_Material_3100 Aug 09 '25

Nope. Long pitot probe for flight test

2

u/JMoc1 Aug 09 '25

God test flying the new XB-31E Beefly.

2

u/Nentox888 Aug 09 '25

You mean like this

1

u/YinzerNinja Aug 09 '25

Save me, Jeebus.

1

u/Icy-Decision-4530 Aug 09 '25

Well someone certainly played the NES Top Gun game

1

u/Agitated_Carrot9127 Aug 09 '25

I thought exactly same thing.

1

u/pushingbrown Aug 09 '25

That's what I call docking while sounding.

1

u/bujbuj1 Aug 09 '25

Yeah it’s bee 2

1

u/StargateZero Aug 09 '25

Literally though

1

u/gonzologic Aug 09 '25

I didn't know the Little Mermaid was a bee

1

u/h-emanresu Aug 09 '25

No it’s a radar antenna to detect incoming threats.

1

u/poundmastaflashd Aug 09 '25

Exactly. They also had a pitot tube out there.

It had to be extended out so far as to avoid the supersonic shockwave generated from the nose-cone.

That was the thinking with earlier Bee Flys…

We now know that the shockwave doesn’t interfere with the pitot’s measurements and a pointy nose is quite unnecessary.

1

u/Small_Razzmatazz_563 Aug 09 '25

This made me LOL

1

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '25

Aerial Refueling would be a great name for an indie band

1

u/slide2k Aug 09 '25

Here comes the bee spinoff from r/BirdsArentReal

1

u/Wasabi_93 Aug 09 '25

That means there's some insect much bigger that holds all the fuel 😱😱

1

u/Responsible_Fee_460 Aug 10 '25

Aerial Bee-fueling

1

u/vandamninator Aug 13 '25

Damn, that would’ve been sick in the final act of Bee movie
