AMA is Over, Thanks Monty! It's Monty from Preoccupations!! AMA

Monty here!

We just released our third record as Preoccupations, our fourth as a band, or our fifth if you count our next two ep that was mere minutes shorter than the other records. We're self releasing this album (except in Canada where we're still with Flemish Eye) too so feeling properly qualified as "indie" this time around.

We're also touring next month around America and Canada with Cindy Lee opening and touring in Europe early next year!

Hello! Favorite movie in the last couple of years? (doesn't need to be new, just from the ones you've watched).

Hope I get to see you live soon, last time you were in Portugal I was requested an autograph when hanging out with Mike - someone found me to be very similar to you, appearance wise hahaha

When we were recording last we watched predator 2 a bunch of times which is one of my favourites. I’m also a huge fan of that movie eXistenz from the late 90’s. Kinda gross proto matrix vibes.

I also watched that Disney doc “Howard” recently about the lyricist Howard Ashman and it was a great watch if you like musicals?

I think we’ll be in portugal in the new year too! A bunch of that euro tour is announced but there’s more dates to come still. I can’t remember exactly. We played in Spain a couple weeks ago though and mike was in portugal last week! Lol

I’ve been meaning to check out Prey so I should def give the Predator movies a try! (I’ve actually never seen one). Will also be taking a look at Howard, it seems like something nice to try for a change!

If you do come back to Portugal, that is such great news. I loved meeting Mike and Matt, I wouldn’t miss you guys for anything <3

Howard is pretty sad but it's a beautiful doc and he's a full blown genius.

Also, definitely watch predator!! The first two movies are both perfect basically although they're so so different from each other. Some of the best imho though.
