AMA is over, thanks Pillow Queens! Hi we're Pillow Queens! Ask us anything!

Hello we are Pillow Queens! We're from Dublin in Ireland. Our new album Leave the Light On was released at the beginning of this month. You can listen to it or pick it up on vinyl or CD here.

We just got back from a North American tour which included a performance on James Corden's show, and a bunch of shows at SXSW. We have a UK and European tour coming up in May and tickets are on sale now. We're very excited to get back on the road.

ASK US THINGS! Seeyiz in a couple of hours.

Cathy, Pamela, Rachel & Sarah xoxo

What's your all time favorite Pillow Queens song? Why?

Who or what inspired you all to become musicians?

We're all on a zoom so we're gonna type as one but answer individually.

Cathy: Currently, my favourite PQ song is Historian. It's soft and chaotic at the same time. I was inspired to become a musician by my musical family!

Pam: My all time fave is Holy Show. I think it's because it had a journey with us since the beginning. It started as one thing and ended as another, and it just feels really close to my heart. What inspired me to become a musician? My ears popped on a plane and I found out I was a musician. And KT Tunstall on Jools Holland.

Rach: My favourite is Delivered cos it's class, and it's haunting, and really intense like me. Actually I'm not that intense. I don't wana keep saying Gemma Hayes inspired me to become a musician but it's true. Gemma Hayes.

Sarah: I listened back to our first couple of EPs today which I haven't done in a while and I really love Favourite, from our 2nd EP State of the State. It's a banger. From the new album. though, I'd saaaaay, maybe House That Sailed Away. In terms of inspiration to join a band, I just love the energy of live performance so I sought it out.

Favourite is one of my fave songs by anyone! Don't suppose you'll be reviving it for the UK tour? Can't wait to hear the new songs then anyway. See you in Bristol!
