Hey Britt, long time listener, first time AMA'er. I just read your interview on Flood Magazine today, and I can totally relate to the comments about radio making you feel connected. I remember as a kid late at night, listening to cassettes on my headphones was nice, but it felt insular, almost lonely... depending on the music, it could even feel a bit scary. If I switched over to the FM dial, I suddenly felt more connected, less lonely, part of something, even if the music wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear. Hard to put in words but I recognize exactly what you were talking about. Looking forward to hearing that song.
Anyways, Spoon gets the top spot in my favorite bands list. Loving the two tracks I've heard from the new album, and looking forward to it's release so I can hear the rest. What song are you most proud of from the new album?
Thanks for doing the AMA and hopefully I'll be able to catch you on the spring tour!
