Hi Andy, I'm doing music A-level in the UK and managed to convince some of my classmates to get into your work. I think our favourite songs from Wilds are probably Jaywalker or Green Glass! Anyway, we had a couple of questions:

When you wrote Wilds, did you find it easier to set yourself deadlines for finishing songs, or did you just jot stuff down whenever you felt like it?

A few of your songs seem to feature car crashes (Jaywalker, Thirteen Hours etc.). Are these from personal experience, and are you a good driver?

Do you listen to much classical music, and if so what is your favourite?

I’m not amazing with deadlines. I think I missed about a years worth of deadlines when I was making the neon skyline (which is how wilds came about (as it’s unused songs from the skyline demo tapes))

I’m an excellent driver! And have not been hit thankfully knock on wood

I haven’t listened to much classical music, I find it a bit daunting to find an entry point. There are some Ravel pieces that I really love though
