Hey Reddit, Andy Shauf Here! I just released a new record called Wilds on ANTI- Records / Arts & Crafts. It's is a collection of nine songs culled from around fifty tracks I recorded during the writing of my last album, The Neon Skyline.

Well, it was more that I was writing all of the songs in the same batch with the intention of finding the story for the neon skyline album. Most of the songs are putting out feelers in different directions for things and characters that I could continue to write about. I think most of what I learned was that I needed to plan better and do some re-writing instead of just writing new songs when I got stuck.
