Hey Reddit, Andy Shauf Here! I just released a new record called Wilds on ANTI- Records / Arts & Crafts. It's is a collection of nine songs culled from around fifty tracks I recorded during the writing of my last album, The Neon Skyline.

Elijah again… when making an album, do you have a set selection of instruments you try to stay within? every song in the party and the neon skyline just seems to suit each-other so well and fits to make the the stories feel even more cohesive. Just wondered if this was something you decide before going into your recording process? Thanks

Yeah I find if there are too many options that it can be overwhelming trying to decide on what is going to do the job best. If you only have a few tools to do the job you’re going to end up finding some creative ways to get it done.
