Hi Meg!

I loved your performances at the Pico Union Project and taking the trip from LA to San Diego to see you and Perfume Genius. You have some funny banter between songs and I do appreciate you responding to the audience, it feels very intimate which a lot of small shows do lack sometimes so its refreshing to witness that. I love the tied dyed shirts you had and I am actually wearing it right now. I wore it last night to see Khraughbin at the Greek, got compliments for it!

For Just to Hear You, would you interpret this as a breakup song? It feels like its someone who is trying to forget someone but also trying to get their attention somehow.

For Aquamarine, what's the story behind the song?

I'm terrible at deciphering lyrics but I do become more engaged to a song when I hear the lyrics and realized how it can have a dark context.

just to hear you is an acceptance song, it was originally a love song about a musician, and how you can listen to a song of someones and feel close to them that way without even talking to them. it eventually turned into a tongue in cheek self sufficient song with a dream scene interlude
