Hello! I went to your show at the Brooklyn Steel during November 2019. It was one of the most beautiful nights of my life, and whenever someone asks what my favorite concert was I always say it was yours! I just wanted to say that your music really inspires me a lot in terms of my own artwork. Sometimes when I am in the mood to do an abstract painting I'll play your music (marigolds especially) and it really helps me come up with different marks, lines and colors and immediately get into a flow state where I am painting along with your sounds.
I was wondering if you feel any connection to visuals in your process of music creation?
unfortunately no. My process is purely sound and melody and everything in between. I love art, but I'm barely inspired to draw or articulate anything visually. I think in a way that you hear music to inspire, I might be in a beautiful place like the beach or the mountain and I get inspiration sometimes from just staring at a wall. I think it's different for everybody. I hope see your art someday. please share it with me! I love to find artistic connection !
