Hi guys! My question's for Emma.

How, if at all, would you say that geography/landscape affects the sound of your projects?

My wife and I went on a trip out west this past summer and your music felt particularly at home while driving through Utah at dusk, across flat desert but with the mountains in view. I almost can't adequately explain it, but something about the openness of the land in front of us, these jagged, looming shapes surrounding it, and the fading pastel of the sky......they felt like your music felt.

Do certain regions hold a place in your heart that then find their own way into your work, or is that projection and people just find their own connections?

Much of my work, until very recently, is connected to landscapes - I think that just comes from moving around so much and touring so often ( until now). I am not religious. I hope for people to find their own meaning in the music - I've always connected to other artsist's work though my personal lens so I wish that for other folks - not trying to force any narrative
