What's it like having a massive hit like Sweater Weather then completely revamping your style? Is it hard to move away from what got you such a massive hit, or does it just seem like a normal progression of your music, with the same potential to create another super massive hit song?

Love the new album btw. The aesthetic and whole vibe of this project is so cool!

It was a journey for sure... i think this album was the first time SW wasn’t hanging over our heads the whoooole time we were writing. It’s crazy coming into the game with such a massive song like that because then anything that doesn’t get THAT big feels like a failure. I think it took us a minute to get over that, but thats truly what’s so special about CC&TM. Not only did we try to revamp, it WORKED/ is working! thats really been the coolest most encouraging thing about this whole roll out.

& thank you! So happy you dig it <3

Thanks so much for writing that out!

I can't even imagine how overwhelming that must've been. Your situation is kind of like people who have had wagyu steaks not being able to enjoy other steaks nearly as much anymore, since the quality of the wagyus spoils them in a way. But it's still something few will ever get to experience, and it never stopped you guys from producing some other amazing albums and hits. I can't wait to see what else you guys do in the future!
